Decking Screws for Aluminium Substructures

When installing decking boards or façade cladding on aluminium substructures, it is essential to use stainless steel screws with a specially designed tip and thread geometry for aluminium. These screws ensure secure fixing, precise drilling, and reliable long-term performance without damaging the aluminium frame.

Our range includes C1 stainless steel screws, suitable for exterior use with less aggressive wood species, as well as A4 stainless steel screws, recommended for exotic hardwoods and aggressive environments, such as swimming pool areas or locations exposed to high humidity.

If the supporting structure is made of steel, we recommend using C1 stainless steel screws for steel substructures, selected according to the steel thickness – suitable for steel profiles up to 3 mm or up to 6 mm thick.

For optimal installation results, we recommend pre-drilling the decking boards using a dedicated pre-drilling tool (blue) to ensure clean fixing and reduce stress on the screws.
